A quarter of a million audience members from three continents have helped the Gimquat search for her song over the course of more than 20 years. How the Gimquat Found her Song is one of Platypus Theatre's most beloved productions. There have even been two television versions of the show! To bring the joy of musical discovery to even more children and families - in addition to the full orchestra version of the show - Platypus Theatre has created versions for chamber orchestra and for a six-musician ensemble. PETER AND THE WOLF WITH A WOODWIND QUINTET

Two dancers, colourful sets and incredible masks make for a modern and humorous re-telling of this well-loved classic. We premiered our production of Peter and the Wolf to seven sold-out houses with the Toronto Symphony in 2014, and remounted it in French, English and bilingual versions with the Montreal Symphony later in the same year.
